After a twelve weeks at home, we are back at school! The children have adjusted beautifully to our new routine, and everyone is so happy to be back with friends.
Our first week back was pirate themed. The children had fun making treasure maps and other pirate crafts, painting landforms, and reading lots of pirate stories. They ended the week with a scavenger hunt, and everyone went home with lots of treasure!
This past week was art themed. The children learned about different artists, and they experimented with many different mediums.
We finished the week with an art exhibit featuring 20 pieces by Picasso, Monet, van Gogh, Matisse, and Georgia O'Keeffe.
Next week's campout promises lots of fun. We can't wait!
