What a month for art! The children colored, painted, and glued their hearts out. They even practiced patterns by dyeing pasta to string into necklaces and by making colorful paper chains..jpg)

We planted seeds from the pumpkin we carved together, started growing a pineapple from its top, and dyed celery with food coloring. We also filled our classroom with zinnias from our garden and rooted cuttings from the plants in our front pots.
Ms. Mary and Mr. Bob (as well as Caroline and Annelise) played for us and gave the children an opportunity to hold and try their instruments.
October wouldn’t be complete without a costume party! Pirates, superheroes, and princesses filled our classroom, and even in costume, our friends were focused and hard at work!
I’m so proud of all your children and can’t wait to brag about them at this week’s parent-teacher conferences!
