December at Marlowe

December was a very festive month! We sang Christmas and Hanukkah songs, danced along with The Nutcracker, memorized the Night Before Christmas, and learned about winter holidays around the world.

We made several holiday crafts, practiced all of our favorite lessons and then invited our families into the classroom to show them off.
Along with celebrating the holidays, we also learned about weather.
We had great fun conducting a tornado and raincloud experiment.
On the Thursday before break, we had our daddies (and other very special people) join us for circle time and an art project.
We hope you all had a wonderful break, and we look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday!

November at Marlowe

We gave ourselves the day after Halloween to recover from all of the previous evening's excitement. We came to school in our jammies, and after working in the morning, we practiced critical thinking, problem solving, and teamwork all afternoon by playing our favorite board games.

This month, we also hosted a Mystery Reader, transplanted our seedlings, enjoyed many music lessons with Ms. Mary, and created several fun crafts.
We even hosted a petting zoo!
We look forward to showing off all our lessons during our Afternoon at Marlowe sessions this month!
