September at Marlowe

Our unit this month was all about the human body. We learned about our skeleton, brain, heart, lungs, stomach, germs, and how to stay healthy.
We were visited by a mommy (who is also an ER doctor), and she talked to us about our body's many systems. She brought a sonogram machine and showed us veins, arteries, bones, and joints!
Our art projects this month involved quite a bit of drawing, cutting, and different painting techniques.
Even though we have been having a lot of fun...
...the children have been working very hard.
School pictures are posted!
Check out this month's newsletter to view them and to sign up for parent-teacher conferences.

Back to School!

School is back in session! We have had so much fun these past few weeks meeting new friends and settling into the classroom routine. We have been singing, dancing, making fun art projects, reading childhood favorites such as The Kissing Hand, How I Spent My Summer Vacation, Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse, When I Grow Up, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, and more!
I hope you all had a lovely Labor Day weekend, and I am looking forward to another wonderful year!
