December at Marlowe

December was a short but fun-filled month!
We learned about several holidays and created many beautiful crafts.
Our unit this month was about weather, so we experimented by creating a tornado and a cloud in a bottle.
We showed our families our favorite lessons and then invited our Daddies (and other special people) into our classroom to join our circle time and help us complete a craft.
We finished out the month with a pajama day.
I hope you all had a fantastic break, and I look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday, January 3!

October at Marlowe

This month's theme was all about the plants around us. We carved a pumpkin and planted its seeds, harvested the last of the eggplants, and are hopeful that our green tomatoes ripen before the first frost.

We enjoyed watching the Venus flytrap catch bugs and even took our work outside on pretty days.
We sang spooky songs, conducted eerie experiments, and created many fun Halloween crafts.
We also worked hard every day.
I can't wait to see you all next week and brag about your child during Parent-Teacher conferences!
