January at Marlowe

This month, we learned lots about the Arctic, Antarctic, and life in the snow!
The children made an Arctic scene, complete with an aurora borealis.
They decorated our classroom with snowflakes made out of paper cutouts and beaded pipe-cleaners
(not pictured), they made snowflakes out of marshmallows,
...and they made a chilly cardinal from their handprints.
We try to read a fun mix of both fiction and non-fiction books to the children.
A few of this past month's favorites include:
As always, we loved Ms. Mary's lesson and our daily song and dance.
We've loved watching our amaryllis bloom from a bulb.
We also had great fun working hard in the classroom!
