Under the Sea camp went swimmingly this past week!
Some of our crafts included seahorses, jellyfish, angel fish, and whales.
We even made an ocean in a bottle!
We used liquids with different viscosities to create the different ocean zones.
On the playground, we played sharks and minnows and created a ocean mural.
Miss Jamie even surprised us with some fishy treats!
We sorted and counted different shells and examined some previously living brain coral.
The children copied ocean stories and labeled the parts of a fish.
We named and matched over 20 varieties of ocean creatures, learned eight landforms, and still had time to explore the classroom!
I look forward to seeing you for next week's Paleontology for Kids!
