Little Scientist camp was filled with experiments. The children started the week by growing crystals on trees. I was very impressed by how quickly the crystals grew. Unfortunately, they were incredibly delicate.
The children created art using Sunprint, items they gathered from our garden, and feathers.
They learned about constellations, acids and bases, polymers, tornadoes and rain clouds, magnets,
and sound vibrations.
After such a busy week, the children decided to take a break and camp out.
The first day, they pitched a tent all by themselves.
They then made their own campfire,
mapped out the terrain,
and created some fun crafts.
They also learned how to make their own compass just in time to go on a four-day safari.
