Science, Camping, and Safari Camp

Science camp was a fun, experiment-filled week. We worked with magnets and prisms, made a compass out of cork and a needle, changed acids into bases and back again, created our own crystals, erupted a volcano, made sunprints, learned about sound, constellations, the water cycle, and more!
Camping camp prepared the children for the following week's safari camp. The first week, the children were taught basic survival skills including how to build a tent and create a trail mix snack. The following week, our older students were handed a tent in a bag and were asked to pitch it themselves. Both weeks involved many fun crafts.
