February at Marlowe

This month, we learned all about the founders of our country (in preparation for President's Day), and we celebrated both the Chinese New Year and Valentines Day!
A mommy came in and helped us make a special heart-shaped treat.
We were also visited by a local dentist and learned how to care for our teeth.
We took advantage of the nice weather and spent extra some time outside.
We also had fun working with all of the materials inside the classroom!
You can see how years of working with our puzzle maps help the children learn geography effortlessly. This young five-year-old labeled all of the states out of geographical context (without the use of the control map).
Research shows that children learn best when having fun. I have definitely found this to be true. :)
We can't wait to brag about your children during conferences this month. Don't forget to sign up!
