October at Marlowe

This past month's theme was The Plants Around Us. We learned all about the parts of the plant and their functions. We dissected a pumpkin and harvested its seeds. We also planted some flower seeds and are watching them bloom in our miniature greenhouse. We completed several spooky crafts, hosted a Mystery Reader, and enjoyed a bubble show!

The children worked very hard on their lessons this month, and we look forward to bragging about them during Parent-Teacher Conferences next week!

September at Marlowe

This past month, the children's small group lessons focused on identifying living vs. non-living, plant vs. animal, the skeletal system, and body parts. We learned about our senses, how to stay healthy, and other fun facts about the body.

We read dozens of fun storybooks and created some cute crafts.
We also spent quite bit of time working with friends and using the materials in the classroom.
