Beautiful Ballerinas

We have been so lucky to have Miss Jamie visit us twice a week for the past several years. One day a week, she introduces various sports to the children, and one day a week, she shares her love of dance with them. Last week, we were delighted to host yet another wonderful recital in which the children were able to show off their ballet and tap skills.

We've had an incredibly eventful month so far. 

We had the pleasure of hosting our families during an Afternoon at Marlowe during which we showed off our classroom and all of our favorite things. We also invited our Mommies to breakfast and circle time. 

A Secret Chef surprised us with a summery cooking craft!

And, Peter Hart visited us for our fifth annual puppet show. 

The next two weeks promise to be filled with loads of fun and excitement as we count down to the first day of summer!

March at Marlowe

March has been a busy month at Marlowe! We were delighted to host a student-teacher from the International Montessori Training Institute for two weeks. The children loved having her and were eager to receive lessons from her each day. 

We can't wait for our spring egg hunt on Friday!

Mid-February Fabulousness!

We have been having a fabulous February! We had the privilege of having Ms. Mary come for her much anticipated music hour earlier this month! She brought several instruments, tons of props, and she taught us lots of Valentine's and Presidents' Day songs. 

We had a Secret Chef visit and help us make penguins out of olives, cream cheese, and carrots and an igloo out of apple, honey, and marshmallows. 

We also handed out Valentines to all of our friends!

Amid all the fun, our children have been having a blast exploring the math materials.
