December at Marlowe

We loved celebrating the holidays this month! We enjoyed hosting TWO mystery readers, created all sorts of crafts, and conducted several science experiments.
Our science experiments started with creating a cloud in a bottle.
We then watched ice change from a solid form of water to a liquid.
Our final experiment involved using water to "bend" light (refraction) and flip an arrow!
We loved wearing our pajamas to school and giving lessons to our favorite stuffed animals!
We look forward to seeing everyone in the new year!

November at Marlowe

This past month, we enjoyed watching the pumpkin seeds we planted in October sprout, and we finished the last of our fall crafts.
We learned about the animal kingdom and were visited by our favorite local petting zoo!
Ms. Mary and Mr. Bob brought many orchestral instruments for us to examine.
Ms. Roopal helped us made a rangoli in honor of Diwali. Each child created their own sand art, and the class put all the pieces together to make one beautiful design.
We also took advantage of the beautiful weather and took our work outside!
We've been working hard on our lessons and look forward to showing them off to our families later this month!
